Ideal shrink and bender instructions use different assumptions
For two sharp equal bends, spacing is offset ÷ sin angle. Shrink is offset × tan half the angle. A 6 in offset at 30° gives 12 in spacing and about 1.607695 in ideal shrink.
A real bender has a finite radius and its own reference marks. Your verified field multipliers can produce different figures. The calculator shows both and clears the calibration when the angle changes.
Mark distances are available only with the supplied method's spacing, shrink, obstacle reference and take-up. This tool does not infer a universal bend-radius correction or electrical-code requirements.
